When you think of Yoga..

When you think of Yoga, what usually comes to mind? Relaxation & peacefulness? Well, actually, these are a couple of misconceptions about Yoga. So, what are some other common misconceptions about Yoga?

- Yoga is all about being still & balanced. Really though, it's impossible for something to be entirely still, whether that be our minds or our bodies. The world around us is constantly imbalanced; ebbing and flowing is normal.

- Yoga is all about peacefulness. Yoga incorporates shadows & darkness. Can our warrior pose really be associated with peace?

- Yoga means relaxation. Yoga isn't always a chill time, sometimes it's a full-body exertion!!

- Practice practice practice. Some say the art of Yoga (like meditation) can't actually be practiced at all!
