Sankalpa

Be honest - how's your New Years Resolution going? Have you given up already?
What if I told you there was a Yogic tool that was more effective than setting a resolution?
It's called a Sankalpa, which is Sanskrit for intention & although it's similar to setting a resolution, it is not quite the same thing!
A Sankalpa is your deepest hearts desire that you bring to your awareness during meditation or Yoga Nidra. It's a resolve or a supercharge intention that you carry with your throughout your days.
Often resolutions can be damaging to our self esteem & confidence where Sankalpas help to strengthen & improve our self esteem whilst striving towards our goals.

‘‘As is your desire, so is your will. As is your will so is your deed.
As is your deed, so is your destiny’’ ~ The Upanishads
